100 Extra Calories a Day
Have you ever wondered how your friend stays so thin while they seem to eat the same thing you do while you put on more and more weight each year? The answer may surprise you. Let’s start with a few facts. There are 365 days in a year. It takes 3,500 calories to equal one pound of stored fat. If you eat one hundred extra calories a day, in the course of a year you will have gained 10.4 pounds! One hundred calories a day is less than the amount of calories in one 12 ounce soda or about the same amount of calories as one apple. The difference in you and your skinny friend may not be as much as you think.
