The Virtue of Fiber
I never understood how important fiber is to your diet and good health in general until recently. Fiber is said to prevent several kinds of cancer including prostate cancer in men but this is not we are interested in, is it? Fiber also helps us feel full longer. Have you ever eaten only to find yourself hungry again shortly afterwards? If the answer is yes, it is probably because you were eating empty calories, calories without much nutritional value or fiber. So you can do yourself a favor by supplementing your diet with either a fiber pill or a fiber powder that you add to your food. They say the powder doesn’t change the flavor or the texture of the food. Still, I opted for the pill. So whatever you do, make sure you get enough fiber in your diet.
